Taylor Made: A Tribute To Taylor Swift

It might not be ERAS, but it’s still a Love Story you’ll want to be a part of….

MEDIA RELEASE

MELBOURNE: 22ND August 2023 – This November, some of Australia’s most fearless performers are bringing their favourite Taylor Swift songs to the beautiful stage at Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on November 24th 2023. Presented by ALWAYS LIVE, Clementine Ford and Story Baker Presents, it features an impressive musical line-up including Alex The Astronaut, Charley, Clare Bowditch, Clementine Ford, Em Rusciano, Emily Wurramara, Kate Miller-Heidke, Lisa Mitchell and Sophia J. Smith ensuring this is one night not to be missed by any Swiftie!

Taylor Swift's seismic impact on the music industry over the past 17 years, has not been limited just to her unequalled commercial success but in her evolution as an outspoken feminist and cultural icon - who shapes trends, sets new standards and continues to shape history.  The global frenzy around tickets for her ERAs tour reaffirmed that her impact is not to be understated. Borne from Clementine’s love of all things Taylor Swift, TAYLOR MADE will take audiences on a journey through some of Taylor’s musical highlights as this group of accomplished and burgeoning performers come together to celebrate the icon that is Taylor Swift.

Clementine Ford said, “Taylor Swift has the remarkable ability to capture the deepest of human experiences at the same time as encouraging the most optimistic of hopes. An entire generation of women have grown up alongside her, seeing their most intimate moments captured in her lyrics. Having cemented herself as one of the greatest songwriters of all time, it’s exciting to see a new generation of women find solace, connection and comradery through her art and magical ability to bring people together. What I love about Taylor Swift is how keenly observant she is of the human experience and how she is unafraid to wear her heart on her sleeve. She gives us all permission to dance as if no one is watching, live with no regrets and to be our own greatest love. I am so excited to bring these incredible performers together and to share the stage with them as we share the life affirming music of Taylor Alison Smith.”
